Free Commentaries Online!

Thanks to Michael Halcomb for pointing this out.

Apparently College Press has decided to make their commentary series available to everyone for free. Alternatively, you can download the whole series on Michael's blog since he has been kind enough to condense all 58 volumes in to seven files!

Since I do not remember ever using any of these commentaries I cannot comment on them. But I did open the first Matthew volume. It was printed in 1968, so it is a bit outdated. But I did find the commentary on Matthew' genealogy for Jesus demonstrating thoughtful, critical interaction with the text.

At the very least, you may find these to be a helpful resource to keep stored on your computer.
