John- my IVPAcademic book on the Origins of the Gospel Tradition will be in the same vein as Bailey's book...my work on orality/literacy/etc. flows from Bailey's earlier 1991 work....IVP appreciates that they will have a 'Paul' and a 'Jesus' book from similar perspectives...
