Fakes, Forgeries and Frauds Lecture Now on YouTube

The lecture I gave at the end of January on fakes, forgeries and frauds in archaeology has been uploaded to YouTube. I tailored the lecture towards a general audience rather than specialists since it is the public who most often is the target of the misinformation. Some my find this helpful to use in various church or educational settings, which I am happy for you to do.

The presentation software focuses on my PowerPoint slides rather than me. I will let you decide if that is a good or bad thing.

  1. John, you're a very clear and gifted communicator. Well done, bro.

  2. John,

Your small screen on the bottom right of the general screen blocks some of your citations. Is there anyway to fix this or is it a problem with space on the screen? Great presentation and one I think I will share with my students as will be addressing this topic shortly as well.

    1. Tony,

No, unfortunately , that is the way the lecture capture software worked. Overall you don't miss too much of the text. Let me know how it goes with your class. I have uploaded both this lecture and the one I did last year on Rewriting the Bible to my site. ( You may find that one of interest as well.

  3. Thanks John. Will let you know how it goes with my class. Cheers.--Tony
